 Just purchased a certificate from SSLs.com for my XMPP server and upon
 logging into the account I get the following error when logging in on 2.12
 for Windows:

 ---
 Accept certificate for chat.domain.com?

 The certificate for chat.domain.com could not be validated.

 The certificate is not trusted because no certificate that can verify it
 is currently trusted.

 --

Comment:

 The Comodo root CA does ship with Pidgin 2.12.  Perhaps it's an
 intermediate cert?

 Are you able to provide the domain name, so as to be able to look at the
 certificate chain that the server is providing?
