Every time I type stand-alone letter "k" it shows as "okay" in the GAIM
session.

Does anybody know how to turn off this annoying feature?

I'm on OpenSuSE 10.2 (in case that has to do with anything).

Thanks!

Tools > Plugins > Text replacement, then press Configure Plugin.  Scroll down
the list until you find the entry that changes "k" to "okay", and modify/delete
it.  Alternatively, you can also deactivate the Text Replacement plugin.
