 FSVO "works" which meets the same criteria as above, yes. That is, it
 makes my crash go away although I still haven't worked out what hoops I
 need to jump through to make Pidgin work, when I am demultiplexing audio
 bytes from the rest of my data stream *within* my PRPL.
